Accsys' International Cellulose Company (ICC) subsidiary is responsible for developing the Group's technologies other than wood acetylation. These span a range of different processes which are designed to produce some of the basic building blocks used in the manufacture of thousands of everyday products.   ICC is involved in both cellulosics (derived from plants and crops such as wood and cotton) and industrial polymers (which are used in a diverse range of products from plastics to pharmaceuticals).   Owing to the sensitive stage of its technologies, ICC restricts disclosure of its process developments to a narrow group of development partners.
