With sustainable sourcing, long life and easy reusability or recyclability, Accoya wood is a perfect fit for the circular economy and bio-cycle ideals behind the certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c2ccertified.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Cradle to Cradle Certified\u2122 Product Standard (opens in a new tab)\">Cradle to Cradle Certified\u2122 Product Standard<\/a> recognises commitment to the circular economy philosophy, and authoritatively highlights the importance of products with a positive impact on the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Products are reassessed every two years, and Accoya wood has now been successfully recertified until August 2021, having been Cradle to Cradle Certified\u2122 at the Gold level since 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A separate classification and certificate has also be issued in the category of Material Health. The Material Health&nbsp;Certificate focuses on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Knowing more about chemicals&nbsp;in products and supply chains<\/li><li>Avoiding chemicals of concern and shifting to inherently safer chemicals<\/li><li>Making a commitment to&nbsp;continual improvement towards greener chemistry<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Accoya wood has again had its Platinum status for Material Health reconfirmed.
