New 15-year coating warranty highlights the value of tested, long-term coating performance on Accoya®
Accoya®, the world-leading high-performance acetylated wood, welcomes the introduction of a new limited coating warranty program from The Sansin Corporation, offering up to 15 years of coating performance coverage on Accoya when finished using Sansin’s recommended Precision Coat KP-System and applied through approved factory finish partners.
The announcement follows more than 10 years of third-party outdoor exposure testing, reinforcing the long-term coating performance possible when advanced coating technologies are paired with dimensionally stable, high-performance wood substrates.
Accoya’s acetylated wood technology permanently enhances sustainably sourced wood, delivering exceptional durability and outstanding dimensional stability. By significantly reducing swelling and shrinkage compared with traditional wood species, Accoya helps minimize stresses that can contribute to coating deterioration over time, supporting long-lasting appearance and reduced maintenance.
