Accsys joins the United Nations Global Compact initiative

December 11, 2023

Sustainability is core to our mission of changing wood to change the world. As well as providing customers with products that can help them build better, we also want to do business in the most responsible way.

That’s why today we are proud to share that Accsys has joined the UN Global Compact (UNGC) initiative, a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.

With this announcement Accsys is proud to join thousands of other companies globally committed to taking responsible business action to create the world we all want.

As participants of the UNGC, Accsys commits to implementing the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact (set out below) and to report its progress on these efforts annually. Accsys will benefit from access to the UNGC’s extensive tools and resources to engage with its employees across the globe and improve their learning and training in sustainability.

Jelena Arsic van Os, CEO, Accsys Technologies commented: “I am incredibly proud to announce that Accsys has officially become a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact. Our focus on sustainability is core to our business ethos and product offerings, where we actively contribute to the construction of eco-friendly buildings. Becoming a signatory is another step forward in our efforts to embed sustainable and responsible business practices across our operations and reduce our environmental impacts.”

Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 15,000 companies and 3,800 non-business signatories based in over 180 countries, and more than 69 local networks.

We encourage you to visit Accsys’ profile on the UN Global Compact website.
