We combine chemistry, technology and ingenuity to make high performance wood products that are extremely durable, stable, and sustainable opening new opportunities for the built environment.
Accoya and Accoya for Tricoya are produced at our Acetylation factory in the Netherlands. A second Accoya factory in the USA will start production in summer 2024. Accoya Color grey is produced at our UK factory. Our Group Technology Centre and associated testing facilities are based at the Netherlands facility.
To support the planned sales growth in core markets we are looking to recruit a technically competent, commercially experienced and independent Product Manager to join our global commercial team.
Key Responsibilities & accountabilities
This is a new full-time role which will quickly develop a deep understanding of our product applications and markets, particularly cladding and decking. This insight gained will be combined with the candidates natural technical competency and applied to bottom up / top down review of existing technical documentation, planning a revision process and sequence to implement. This role will lead and be responsible for content creation with support and alignment with group marketing, technology and sales colleagues.
This candidate will:
Be comfortable in efficiently gaining deep application and market insight from working hand in hand with the commercial team and key customers through the market segments.
Take a structured and insightful approach in comprehensive review of existing documentation in contrast to fields of application by key country market and the associated commercial landscape.
Have the competence to develop new and revised documentation and associated training structure with internal and external commercial and architectural audiences
Competencies, Skills & Attributes
Minimum 5 years relevant building products experience
Ability to speak and write using technical and complex language.
Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Demonstrable drive and ambition. Up for a challenge. Hands On.
Organised, structured and results/execution focussed
Attention to detail
Strong computer skills including excellent PowerPoint and Word; Excel creation and drawing skills
Excellent project management skills with an ability to meet deadlines

Place of work dependant on location
Travel to Accsys Netherlands and travel to key markets in and outside Europe
